Jeremy practises in the areas of public law, human rights (domestic and international) and civil liberties, police and prison law, immigration and asylum, social security, employment and malfeasance claims (assault, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution and misfeasance). He also edits Halsbury Laws (Police). He regularly provides advice on policy and operational issues, including in relation to counter-terrorism investigations, the use of covert techniques, the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, Special Police Services, Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
